The Penn State DuBois volleyball team picked up another win Thursday night as they traveled to Penn State Beaver for another PSUAC match. After an hour delay due to weather, the team was ready to get moving, winning the match 3-0.
Penn State DuBois volleyball hosted their final regular season home match Monday night as they took on visiting Penn State Fayette. DuBois would take the match as they won the third set, 25-19.
The Penn State DuBois volleyball team hosted PSUAC opponent Shenango on Saturday afternoon with a 25-15 first set victory, and go on to win the next two sets to take the match, 25-17 and 25-20.
The 12th annual Penn State DuBois Golf Benefit is planned for Sept. 10 at the Silver Golf Course in Treasure Lake in DuBois. There is still time to sign up teams for this four-person scramble. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. All proceeds directly benefit Penn State DuBois varsity athletic programs.
The Penn State DuBois Athletic Department has been named winner of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) 2021 National Directors Cup. DuBois also took the third spot in the USCAA 2021 National President's Cup.
Tournament MVP Daniel Stauffer went 2-for-4 and earned his tournament record third save as Penn State DuBois defeated Cincinnati-Clermont 10-5 to capture its third straight United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship.
Penn State DuBois softball had a great run in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (World Series, but it unfortunately came to an end Wednesday night. The D'Youville College St. Bernards scored first with three runs in the top of the first inning and went on to defeat DuBois 13-3.
DuBois took on the No. 1 seed University of Cincinnati Clermont in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association World Series Wednesday afternoon for a spot in the National Championship game Thursday, May 20. DuBois, the No. 2 seed, bested their opponent 3-2.
The DuBois softball team had an elimination game Tuesday evening, May 18, against Carlow University in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association World Series. Although Lizzy Scott had already pitched a game earlier in the day when DuBois beat Mont Alto, she got the start from Coach Kern, which would help take DuBois to an 8-3 win in this contest.
