Summer Youth Programs Announced

This summer, the Penn State 杜波依斯 Arts, Science and Technology Institute will offer seven youth camps during the weeks of June 12-16, and June 19-23, 2017, for students entering grades 7 - 12. The courses focus on theatre, fly fishing and fly tying, perfume making, forensics and mock trial, mosaic art, wild turkey, teen entrepreneur, and music making on an iPad. The primary goal of the Penn State 杜波依斯 Summer Youth program is to provide challenging, educational activities for students of various grade levels.

Penn State 杜波依斯 Music Fest benefits THON

A group of young musicians rallied together For the Kids at one local community's center for the arts. Music Fest was held at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) on Saturday, Nov. 19. The event featured popular local bands Twin Reverb and Mutual Friends, as well as other entertainers including Penn State 杜波依斯 students. It was organized by Penn State 杜波依斯 THON Committee member Alaina Shaffer.

Penn State Poe scholars team up to chair international conference

Lehigh Valley professor Barbara Cantalupo and 杜波依斯 Professor Emeritus Richard Kopley are notable Edgar 所有an Poe scholars, longtime colleagues and friends. Their most recent collaboration, the fourth International Edgar 所有an Poe Conference, was more than two years in the making.
